Lol Clyde, the custodians of our old home have asked me to do a little history of our family there. I havent got around to it yet but I will have to soon.

In 1956 this ship rammed and sunk the Italian liner ANDREA DORIA, the fact that this 64 year old liner is still sailing and is still popular with the cruising community surely makes a well built ship and maybe a lucky one.
The Swedes are renowned for the sturdy built of their products.

Nice one Clyde, another 300 yards straight over the top of the bridge was our family home for years, the two signalman's cottages next to the Observatory

Wonderful shot, Clyde. The duck fin was added to increase the ships initial stability after they added another deck.
