Perhaps the radioactive air took her paint off :-))
Its not a great photo scan but its looks a lot better than the faded original. Hope it bought back some memories.

Can confirm this is the former Empire Athelston,Benalbanach,
and Camelot.
This was my first ship,joined 15-5-68 as a lowly JEO,managed
by BISN for Min of Defence,name Camelot.
Spent the Summer steaming round the Pacific with Bods from
Aldermaston and RN monitoring the French atomic tests.
Looks like the photo is taken of her on Husbands Jetty,
Marchwood.

I think she is a sistershp of EMPIRE CANUTE, built 1945
Min. of Transport, London,UK. Sold to Belships, former Christen Smith & Co., Oslo 1945 and named BELOCEAN.
The company had sevral heavy lift ships, one of them BELKARIN, which I sailed on.
