An example of B&W Skibsvaerft's "Hamlet Multiflex" standard design 'lo-ro' ship. It had a starboard quarter ramp giving ro-ro access (36 x 12-metre trailers) to the main deck only. Nine examples were delivered by B&W and three were built under licence in Egypt for Egyptian Navigation Co.
