She has CODOG (combined diesel or gas) engines:
2x MTU 20V 956 TB92 diesel-engines, 8.14 MW each.
2x General Electric LM2500 gas turbines, 38 MW each.

As far as I know the gas turbines' exhaust is released close to the water and diesel through the funnels. The gas turbines's exhaust through the funnels would enlarge the heat and radar signature of the ship, so by releasing it close to the water the signature is reduced.

She was pumping it out (of the port side) when I caught her in 2004. What type of engine does she have?
