1: hatch tent against rain - 2: steering machine ,
you can see the steering wheel and it's right above the rudder.

She's a tidy looking ship, looks like she's just come out of dry dock ! What's under those tarpaulins? And what's the 'coffin-like' box at the stern? Is it for disposing bodies at sea ?

Built in 1923 by Kockums Mekaniska Verkstad Ab, Malmö, Sweden (136), 1,301 g.t. & 2,200 dwt., as:-
'Tyra Bratt' to 1940, seized by Germany and renamed
'Nogat' to 1945, then returned to the alllies.
In 1947 vessel towed to Lödöse, Sweden for repairs and finally in 1948 she was returned to her original owners; AB Östersjön of Gothenburg and renamed 'Hervor Bratt' to 1960,
'Vibeke Christensen' to 1963,
'Irene' to 1964,
'Flora Athanassiadi' to 1966 &
'Giannakis F.' until she foundered in shallow water at Laurium, Greece after fire had broken out in her boiler room while she was lying at the port during a voyage from Varna to Gibraltar.
