Brilliant John,
that is excellent considering the weather and light, I know what it was like further up the river that afternoon, they seems so close to each other.

Thanks Ken. I think with a film camera I wouldn't have got a shot at all, the light was awful at the time. They were close to each other, there was quite a parade of traffic jostling for position and a lot of passing manouevres going on with the tug Argonaut, Dart 9, MSC Jilhan, Stones and Hoo Dolphin inbound and Caribia Express outbound. All of this had to be done with consideration for the salvage operations going on at the edge of the fairway at the West Blythe bouy where apparently four barges sank in November.
regards
John J.

John, I agree about the film camera, it would have been a waste of time taking any, that is an advantage with digital where even a bad light shot can, with a bit of fiddling, be made to look reasonably respectable, I heard about the sunk barges, someone must have slipped up !!

Best Wishes
Ken
