From what I can find, she seems to be powered by a pair of 16 cylinder ALCO's, along with a 450 hp bow thruster. My assumption is the stacks keep the exhaust from obstructing rearward visibility, from some pictures I've seen, she's capable of putting out quite the curtain of smoke.
