One of three Royal Navy nuclear submarines at the Trafalgar 200th anniversary review at Spithead, June 2005. HMS Sovereign was due to take part although had technical issues, it`s position was taken by the available HMS Trenchant at short notice. The three submarines were identical apart from HMS Trafalgar having a blue sheath over it`s sonar array forward of the conning tower. All had nameplates on their conning tower although these were difficult to read at distance.
