The HMCS SUMMERSIDE MM711 armament consists in 1 x 40mm Bofors Model 60Mk 5C and 2 x 12.7mm HMG (0.50 cal.) on board. The 40mm Bofors Model 60Mk 5C shown on this photo is located on the MM711 main deck. This Canadian Mechanical and Minesweeper vessel was seen at Quebec Harbour on June 10,2012.
NOTE: Since WWII and after the Canadian corvette coded (K141) launched May 7, 1941, MM711 has been the second vessel to bear the designation HMCS SUMMERSIDE.
