My father-in-law was a mate in her in the early sixties for almost 14 months. Among the 30+ ships he sailed in throughout his seafaring career he always held the Grete Skou in singularly high esteem. It seems easy to see why.

Another very well oldie freighter lady, a superb photo!
But I feel somehow depressive seeing her navigation bridge of "sad looks as almost crying".
