Those designers of this ship company managers included must have drunk bad booze and on top of that smoking pot,, otherwise this is not possible in my opinion

These ships need more than 'the handle' to make them look good. In my view, they are amongst the most awkward-looking vessels afloat. Not even the offer of a free cruise would induce me aboard.

@jadran: I like the "handle" as well, it gives them a certain look that I really like. The Grand Princess looks a bit ordinary now without it and it doesn't look right somehow.

Soren, thank you for the kind words. Much appreciated. andre

Great shot, andrecas - this is a quite spectacular view ;-)

Jadran: If You are a strange guy, then I must be too... :-) I also like this handle - and I generally prefer the new and modern cruise ships, which apparently is not a common point of view...

Thanks comments. This is the first of four visits to Saint John during 2012 cruise season.

Everybody hates this 'handle'.
But I personally like it !! (I must be a very strange guy!) and to say, I would much enjoy being in the Night Bar inside the 'handle'!

Remember when ships used to have graceful counter, or cruiser sterns! that was before the towers fell! mrdot.
