Photo taken in late December 1965 as ST London Tradition passed astern of ESKISEHIR which was anchored in the Bosporus off the Buyuk Mecidiye Mosque. The photo predates the building of the bridge which is now close by this point.

I thought that might be the case. I have some lovely photos taken on this transit of the Bosporus with really beautiful architecture and the properties spread out across the hills. Unfortunately there are no ships in the best of those pictures so I cannot post them here. I do have a few other pictures that I can add later. Thanks for your interest.

great shot, very interesting the green parts on the hill. Nowafays only buildings and scyscrapers on the top and no more such beautiful old vessels.
