Delivered in November 1982. as Nosira Madeleine ( U.K. flag ) to Nosira Shipping Ltd.London. From 1989 to 1993 Bella Dan ( J.Lauritzen A/S, Esbjerg ). In 1993 sold to Jadroplov ( Hope I - flag Malta ) Name shortened in October, 2002 to Hope. Now under the Croatian flag. For Bartul and other engineers - main engine Sulzer 8 827 kW, speed 15 knots. For you Vedran, just one notice - she joined the fleet of Jadroplov at Singapore in September 1993., then sailed to Amamapare (Indonesia) and Mackay (Australia) to load for your ports - Gaspe and Toronto, where she arrived at mid November. Maybe you were active at that time ?

No, unfortunately I was not active in shipspotting, the only time I've seen HOPE was back in 2004 and had a blast gossiping, with her captain.

Thank you for your kind comments. I was really exited when I learned about her transit, since she is one of the first Croatian ships I was able to capture while in the Seaway & Great Lakes.
