All four of J&C Harrison's existing fleet at the time visited New Zealand between May 1965 and February 1966, the HARPALYCUS being the last.

The design and profile of HARMATTAN, HARPAGUS, HARPALYCE and HARPALYCUS was introduced by the HARBOROUGH of 6,671gt, built by Blyth DD and Shipbuilding, U.K. in 1956.
She was wrecked on 18/4/1959 while on a voyage to Buenos Aires with a cargo of coal from Gdynia. She sank off Wangeroog in the Weser Estuary after striking the wreck of the Russian 2,332 ton vessel, KHOLOMOGORY. The Russian ship had only been wrecked there itself a month earlier after it collided with the 5,794 ton German BISCHOFSTEIN.
A photo of the HARBOROUGH would be a rare thing, I think.
