Prince George - outbound on Alaska cruise from Vancouver Harbour - c1981 [photo © Mr. DOT]
Built at Yarrows Shipyard, Victoria, BC, Canada in 1948 for Canadian National Railways. She operated on summer cruises from Vancouver to Alaska from 1948 until 1974. 5812 GT. Sank in the North Pacific in 1996 while being towed to China for scrapping.

By 1980, there were many others cruising to Alaska, Princess, Holland America, and their were several others by this date, and some good looking ships among them, I think the Norwegian America's Sagafjord was one of many I vued under the Lions Gate around this time! mrdot.
