I now understand the ZNLMS, as Ralph has said, Queen or King the Nato designation remains as HNLMS.

Ken

I would be grateful if the comments in Dutch could be given in English, also if someone could explain ZNLMS from the 30-4-2013.
This is a Google translation of the link - HE BRIGHT - The air defense frigate Hr. Ms. Tromp is now in major maintenance at the naval yard and that time too. For by major problems with the propulsion turned the ship at half power back from the West.

A failure of the diesel-electric equipment on board was the cause of that could be. Only one of the two screws used A crew member reports that it does not even have much gescheeld or LCF frigate - one of the flagships of the fleet - had come to a halt in the seawater.

Also the Marinebredrijf come reports of a 'very substantial list of defects. Chief spokesman Robin Middel of the Royal Navy recognizes that the return of the station ship from the Caribbean was problematic.

"The Tromp was already scheduled for regular major maintenance after the return. During the trip, however, showed that there was a need emergency repair. When we were faced with the question: are we in a foreign dock and make very high cost, or we take the risk and we sail at half power back? Ultimately that decision favorable picked out. The Tromp was even half a day earlier than planned in the home. That is always nice for the home front. Was the ship in the dock went home later than they were. HE BRIGHT - The air defense frigate Hr. Ms. Tromp is now in major maintenance at the naval yard and that time too. For by major problems with the propulsion turned the ship at half power back from the West.

HNLMS TROMP F801 was decommissioned in 1999
HNLMS TROMP F803 was commissioned in 2003

Please give all details in English so that all can understand.
Kind Regards
Ken

Cees: ZNLMS does not make sense. It's still HNLMS (His Majesty's or her Her Majesty's, doesn't make a difference).
Of course the Dutch prefix is now "Zr.Ms." rather than "Hr.Ms.".
As to all the missing equipment: I assume she is coming in for a refit?

Well, as the deck gun and the radar have obviously been stolen, I'd say she's temporarily out of service... Nevertheless, I agree with Stan.
