Built as fishing vessel for William J William Jr, Lowestoft (reg LT1192).
1937 sold to Sweden as trading vessel and given a 60bhp engine
During WW2 carried Danish refugees to Sweden and rescued 420 commandos form Denmark.
1944 rammed by steamer in fog and sunk - later raised and repaired
1963 converted to charter cruise/yacht
1973/4 completed circumnavigation in first Whitbread round-the-world race
1997 saved from becoming diving site off Malta by Paul Welch and since restored to original gaff ketch rig.
