Dan. I thought that at first but then decided it might have been a deck light. However, having looked at other pictures it doesn't seem to be there on them, so it looks like you are right. Cheers, David

It looks like they have a black ball up just behind the forward mast at the top, I am guessing it is made of metal rings and net to allow the wind to pass through.

Ha! Yes, when I saw the picture I thought it was Med like and couldn't believe it when I saw it was Point Lynas. Just as a matter of interest, don't ships show a black ball when anchored any more?
