In 2012 Anek Lines chartered the ship out together with sister Sophoklis V to a company (Jeju Cruise Line) in South Korea. New owners planned to rebuild the ferries, but meanwhile became insolvent. So the shipyard in Busan (South Korea) blocked the ships until recieving the money for the work which is already done.
Many speculations about her futere, now:
One RUMOUR: ATTICA (Blue Star/Superfast Ferries) could have baught the ships and paid them free to employ her in the aegean sea or on the route from Italy to Greece again.
