Description:

Belocean at Coos Bay, OR in March 1964.
Built in 1947 at Greenock. Launched under the name Empire Canute. In 1964, the year this photo was taken, she was renamed Southern Star. In 1968, took her final name of Marie Ann.
29 July 1976, arrived at Gadani Beach to broken up.

She was launched as Empire Canute, but taken over by Belships in Norway before delivery and renamed Belocean. So she had that name until 1964. Belships was wellknown with their large fleet of heavylift vessels
