Hi Vlad,
I have enjoyed your pics from Okpo many times - thank you very much for all your efforts.
I do not want to hijack your thread, but for those of you have the interest I have taken some pics of Majestic Maersk during the "Open Ship" arrangement i Copenhagen 27th September 2013, - including pics from the bridge and large bulb, - but unfortunately not i your quality Vlad!

WOW two months is indeed amazing for any vessel let along a vessel of this size, the fact that 50% is constructed in China obviously helps speed up building time in the yard but its still amazing speed.

Hello Hugh,

The Triple E behind Maribo Maersk is not in the dock, but afloat: the 5th vessel in the series, "Madison Maersk", getting ready to start her sea trials any day now.

Marstal is in adjacent floating dock, still missing its superstructures and fore part (couple of days work, I'd say :)), and my guess is that now the floating dock RD4, vacated by Maribo, will be used to assemble Matz Maersk.

Sorry Vlad, it must be Marstal Maersk. Am I correct? Then after that it's Matz Maersk and Mayview Maersk.

That is unbelievable! Two months! We're are truly in a new age of shipbuilding. Vlad, I see the next Triple-E in the dock in the background. Do you know its name yet? Regards, Hugh

I have checked in my picture files...It took her builders exactly 2 months between the day her 1st block was positioned in the dock No. 4 and this scene today. I'd say...disturbing speed! :)
