Sold as the Greek owned "Fourkero" to Panak Lines of Durban in 1981, she was renamed Judith II, under Panama flag.

What a pleasant surprise to see the ole gal. She was only my second ship when I served aboard her in 1981/2, and was perhaps one of the last to have disembarked on the night she was totally gutted by fire off Anjouan Island on June 24th 1982. I still have some B&W pics taken that night! She was a nice old lady who at age 22, did a voyage from Durban to Algeciras, but mostly traded between South Africa, East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands during her final months. Seeing this pic brings back fond memories of good friends and wonderful places she took me to.

Real nice website you dug out of your sea chest Peter. A shipyard I never had heart about. And most of there ships were little beauties. Until the big beauty "Italia" broke their neck. Thanks for posting.
