Description:
Several training ships named State of Maine were posted so far on this site but not that one to my knowledge. Previously owned by the Panama Canal Co. she was originally named Ancon and built in 1939 at Quincy. Broken up in 1973 in New Jersey.

But surely not wholly 'ship shape' as she is without sheer? A most handsome ship none the less.
