Thank you Clive. Wikepedia states "Sun Princess is a Sun class cruise ship built in 1995 and operated by Princess Cruises line. At the time of her construction, she was one of the largest cruise ships in the world. She is the lead ship of her class that includes sister ships Dawn Princess, Sea Princess and the P&O ship, Oceana.

She made the news in October, 2007 as the largest ship to ever cross beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge while entering the harbor for the first time, with a vertical clearance of approximately 2.5 m (8 ft 2 in) to spare at low tide.

This was the first ship of this class the enter service and thus the ships of this particular design were known as the 'Sun Princess - class'. The Grand-class was of a much larger design and of course the first ship in that class was the Grand Princess.

Clyde, great shot. Not sure she was a Grand Class, I thought Grand Princess was the first of these ships. Stand to be corrected. Tony.

Thank you for the info and comment MrDot. I was pleased to get an underway shot in White Bay.

One of the first 'grand class' vessels, but she still looks impressive, though I particularly liked her smaller predecessor
