Description:
I have the British India freighter down as the "BANKURA", very distinctive design. The tanker however is a complete mystery to me. UK registered and apparently with a wooden wheelhouse and thats all I can tell. The photo was taken from the Britsh Signal in 1965. If anyone can help with the identity of the tanker I would be greatful.

However, from basic shape of letters visible in full-sized file, I think that the BI ship is possibly the 'Bulimba' rather than 'Bankura'.
