Despite the increasing freeboard and H@S Regs,John,it seems the old ways
are still the best.

Quite a climb for the pilot too. And looking at the superb detail of your picture there are a couple of nasty gashes to the hull which are exposed in this light condition. All round a most interesting shot. And yes, a big old girl to be in one of those old fingers of the dock. Great stuff.
Best Regards
John J.

Many thanks for your comment Shaun.
With all the background clutter Jens, there are not many locations to take a clear shot.
Those who post on the site tend to use there own favourite location,to avoid similar
posts.Ken's location is ideal for him,easy parking,and a short walk.(I was 1 Kilometer
downriver from him).
Many thanks Sandy for your kind comments.
Regards.
Doug.

It's difficult to make a good photo of a gearless bulker. This is one of the ways to do it: up close and personal Well done, Mr Shaw.
