@Shaun, yes,,Hartmann, Leer, Germany and Intership Navigation, Limassol really do something to train the new generation of sailors. They have two ships like that and have about 100-150 cadets a year. We have usually 2-4 on our ships. It pays of on the end, you know the peoples who sign or at least know where they coming from !!!!

Interesting!!! the tier of big windows under the bridge is a "2nd bridge" where the cadets sailing the ship as it moves,,just that they can not take the ship over complete but they see all and have to make decisions as they were in charge of the ship
