Never noticed that the uppermost decks oh the superstructure are the same colour as the funnel. Not a good look. A rare instance where conversion does not ruin the ship though, as she looks just as good as when built.

Those were the days when cruise ships still did look
like cruise ships and not like these floating condos
of today......

I wish these ships would be still around and call our ports during cruising seasons. Would be a much much better variety than what is visiting us nowadays! Brgds, Axel

Wonderful memories shot of a migrant ship famous in 1964 - 1974! It was at this time that the migrant trade to Australia was booming. British and European migrants were given assisted passage to Australia - only having to pay ten pounds, with the balance paid by the Federal Government. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TSS_Fairstar
