By the late 1960s, IBERIA was becoming a mechanically troublesome ship and went on to suffer a succession of breakdowns which led to her untimely demise in 1972.

Perhaps one of the best looking ships I viewed here, along with her near sister, which I was more familiar with as she lasted longer in my shipwatching days! mrdot.
