Indeed looks like hospital cafeteria, I have been on small containerships Sietas-type containerfeeders and they have much more cosy interiors :/

I notice that most ships owned/operated by some companies from the East are simplistic and clinical these days...pity...

@tonker - haha! mine too.
@Jadran - agreed , but it is brand new, maybe some more wall art and decorations will be acquired.. I did not see, nor ask, if there was a bar.
@Ted & @Csaba - well put. The accommodation, although very well fitted & finished, was more or less identical to ALL new container ships... plain, light & simple walkways, just like a hospital. Add to that, the central accommodation is silent of course, with no mechanical noise, filtering through from the 'distant' engine room.
Progress>?

Yay...as bleak and soulless as it gets. The cafeteria in my hospital has more character

Looks to me like a hospital cafeteria,, and a prime example what ships designers care on crews,,,ZERO!!!!

Yes I agree with you both, that looks terrible, my garage has more atmosphere than that! Especially when you see how nice most modern ship facilities are these days. Maybe its only temporary, or unfinished?

I agree jadran, Just needs a few Playboy center folds on the wall.
That will warm the dining room up, make real cozy
