Completely agree, Shaun, though I always like to think that some rust adds character to a ship:-)

But what's even more important, she's the first Sealand vessel I ever caught!

Overlooking her untidy state, she is of quite an interestingly pleasant design!

I know, Theo, I know. Think you once told me about the strict regulations concerning paint-jobs on a ship, so I don't blame it on the crew... (or master for that matter;-)

Guys, keep in mind that in 99 from 100 container terminals and the same counts for ports, painting hulls is prohibited (and in some ports also other paint works or maintenance works). So if these ships are not for longer periods of time here and there on anchorages then the last ones at fault are the crews !!!!

Judging from Lappino's photo here on Shipspotting she still looked quite good three and a half years ago... but of course not as good as when you painted her, Denis :-D :-D

Ugh... Well, since the crew either is too lazy or has no time to paint their ship, I guess I'll make them a favor so sailing on such rust buckets would be less embarrassing: http://oi58.tinypic.com/j5b01t.jpg
