21/11/2014, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

At her final berth, for demolition, at the newly revamped area of Logiscrap S.A.

Completed in 1974 by Astilleros Huelva, Huelva, Spain (44)
272 g.t. and 191 dwt., as:
'Marvasa Primero' to 1981 and
'Fayda' until sold to Spain for demolition, vessel was broken up by Logiscrap S.A. at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria during November 2014.

When under the Senegalese flag she was owned by Société Ibero-Senegalaise pour la Pêche en Atlantique SA (SISPA), Dakar, Senegal and managed by Astipesca SL, Huelva, Spain.)

This vessel was one of several Senegalese fishing ships in the port which had been abandoned and under arrest for a number of years.

Good picture Rick, and yes she looks like someone who has given up trying to continue the work, but 40 years is also an age.
