Thank you for the tip off Tony. I will upload a shot of her leaving the dry dock with an ambiguous (to me) slogan across he stern as well as a changerd livery

Hi Clyde, thanks for the info on Claudia, I suppose Forgacs at Newcastle and Cairncross in Brisvegas are closed down now, so that's also why they use Garden Island
all the best

That's right Ron. Oosterdam, the local P&O fleet, Tasmanian ferries and Museum ships use it. But it is primarily a Navy facility. I will look out for Claudia which was once a favourite .regular sight on the Harbour - thanks for letting me know. If you search this site you will find a number of pics

Hi Clyde, I thought the navy tenders out for commercial dry docking work to help supplement their income lol. I noticed on the TV news a while ago what looked like the "Claudia" at the SHF dock in Balmain, I was hoping you might have got a pic of her,
best wishes
Ron

Hi Jadran. Cruise ships and Museum ships occasionally are able to use this Navy facility. But with new ships now coming to the Navy I think it wants the dock to be available at short notice,
