As Clive said: "purposeful"... and because she is a research/survey ship. She will be classed as a "yacht" primarily because she is privately owned - by François Fiat. Same as Cousteau's CALYPSO, shamefully languishing at the same shipyard.

I do not think that she has been anywhere yet. It is my understanding that she has only recently emerged from the builder's yard and is now fitting out.

Nice looking ship. But it seems as if she already has been in rough sea, when loking at parts of her ships side, or do I see wrong?

She has an IMO number by the way: it is 9666651.
