Description:

The Gothenburg based Adolf Bratt had taken delivery at Bruges in March 1957 of a new GERTRUD BRATT, the 1927 ship of that name having been torpedoed on 24th September 1939 on an identical voyage, from Gothenburg to Bristol with a cargo of woodpulp.

She is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Bristol, on 6th April 1965.

Handsome little ship, interesting in her own way, but the lack of traditional masts/derricks makes her look oddly incomplete.
