The U. S. Coast Guard buoy tender FIR (WAGL 212 / WLM 212) was built in 1940 by Moore Drydock Co in Oakland CA. She was disposed of in 1991 when newer buoys exceeded her lifting capacity. Two different groups have tried to maintain her as a museum, but she didn't draw enough support either in Washington State nor in California, and in 2007 she was sold to private owners who hope to open a bed-and-breakfast onboard. She is commercially documented as ON 1174150.
