Description:
Here is Chr. Salvesen's 1961 Oskarshamn built SALVADA in June 1962, I believe in the Welland Canal
Later: 1972 WEDDELL SEA - 75 ZUN HUA - 85 YE XING
reported to have been scrapped between 2001 and 2004
while it's not impossible that the Chinese had retained the ship in local service (in some form) into the 21st Century, it may be that she was scrapped in the 1990's. The last report that I can find of YE XING in Lloyd's Shipping Index is sailing from Manila on 4th April 1992.
