Serco Tug at work in Portsmouth naval base, repositioning the Type 45 Destroyer HMS Diamond D34.

HMS Diamond is seen undergoing the fitting of 8 Harpoon anti ship missiles, being placed in front of her bridge in two quad launchers. The same work was being prepared for HMS Dragon D35. HMS Duncan sailed from Portsmouth on 2nd March 2015 with Harpoon fitted, HMS Daring will be the 4th ship to recieve Harpoon. This is by using the launchers removed from the four Type 22 Frigates.

Eventually they will recieve three 8 cell Mk41 systems placed inbetween the Sylver launchers. This will greatly enhance these warship`s capabilities, enabling them to carry cruise missiles & quad packed Sea Cepter ( replacement for Sea Wolf, 32 missiles in an 8 cell launcher ).
