The 9,800 tonnes standard displacement guided missile cruiser RFS MOSKVA, (ex-SLAVA) of the Russian Federation Navy. Launched in 1979 from the 61 Kommunara Shipbuilding Plant (SY 445), Nikolayev, Ukraine (USSR), she entered service in 1983. In 2000 she underwent a major refit and was re-commissioned as MOSKVA, hull number 121. She is also the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and is based in Sevastopol, Ukraine (now annexed by Russia), where she was photographed on 8th October 2012.
