WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
Hellas Liberty's main deck. May be some details doesn`t match with the years when this vessel sailed the seas (IMO signs at fire fighting equipment, a microwave owen at the galley, air conditioned, etc) but they give the visitor the marvelous sensation that the ship is still comissioned, Also add to this, the Officer on duty who receives you dressed in his working clothes as today happens on board all cargo vessels.
I think everybody who love merchant ships should see this beauty, to remember the days when ships were really ships but all included in the atmosphere of current merchant marine.

I like the riveted doubler on the main deck.
Most probably fitted there to serve as a crack arrestor.
