30 Jun 1990- During a voyage from Saldanha Bay to China with iron ore, she sustained cracks in her hull, hold No.3.
The ship is 400 milles off Durban, in very bad weather. The bulker proceeded to South Africa but ports authorities refused the entry.
02 Jul 1990 - She touched the bottom, 8 km East of Durnford Point and then broke in four parts. The crew was saved but pollution occured.
