MAXI BRAZIL (IMO 8404147) passing the strait of Istanbul on August 14th 2012 (northbound) with tug escort by local tugs KURTARMA 9 & KURTARMA 7.

On September 2013, the MAXI BRAZIL arrived in Gadani, Pakistan to be scrapped. She remains the largest bulk carrier in the history of Istanbul strait and Black Sea.
