Thank you Peter for your comment!
The geese make an ever-present appearance on the salt meadows beyond the islands dyke in the season of bird migration. The continuously browse the grasses in order to brace themselves for the nonstop-flight to their breeding areas in the high north.

In the meadows and the mud flat more than hundred birds mostly Barnacle Goose (Weißwangengans). Nice scene.

Hey Jadran, nice to hear from you! I hope you're allright my friend;)
Thank you for your artistical examination & description + your great compliment to the photo!! While I was on Neuwerk I had the chance to spot the ships passing by on the river Elbe in both the very early morning light or at nightfall respectively with some stunning effects and (light)-impressions to witness.

Kind regards, David

Wow,, that's a true 'artistic' appearance >> the presented, light blue & green combination of the two colours only + them being strictly separated..... all in all,, there's something 'very special' about this photo,, brilliantly done David (echobow) !! regards
