This is the way PRC merchant vessels used to be painted; a gray hull and a yellow funnel with a red band and a yellow star. Seeing this reminds me of a close call we once had on the Rover when we put into a port in South Korea. Two ROK destroyers made straight for us, calling the "unidentified Chinese ship" over the radio and demanding to know what we were doing in South Korean territorial waters! Please, to change the ship name in YONG NING, in 1966 built in Gdynia, Type B 41. The IMO-No. is here also evidently wrong given YONG NING has the IMO # 6726785. Regards friendship
