Description:

14/02/2005, arriving for bunkers at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Laden with West African hardwoods.

Vessel has a slight list, it wasn't me on the tilt..

Built in 1979 by Kurushima Zosen, Onishi, Japan (2086).
11,002 g.t. & 18,244 dwt., as:
'Eastern Lily' to 1991,
'Midway' to 1994,
'Southway' to 2006,
'Ali' to 2007 &
'Abboud G.' until arrived at Aliaga, Turkey for demolition on 27/05/2014, beached on 28/05/2014.

Thanks eptcpt for your comment. Exactly; a small reminder of the good old times from my days at sea, too. Loggers must be problematic to get good stability.

Thanks Volker, I am glad you like the shots. Not so many laden bulkers calling in for bunkers, mostly they stay in the anchorage(s) at Las Palmas. Maybe it was for another reason?
