I shot in M mode, holding the camera in my hands and turning it in the course of the movement of the subject. Several frames are produced, from which the best one is selected.

Thank you Igor, for me the problem would be to move the camera slow enough to keep the ship in focus. It is probably not moving very fast. I suppose you put the camera on servo?

A really good technique you have. I really enjoy.
I want to learn from you. yo do a panning with the camera over a tripod eh?
I try to do a similar photo with my camera, but the result was not good. First I need very high ISO and generate so much noise in the photo. The minor value i get was 4 seconds.
And the the ship was very big and very close, which changes a lot the angle.
