Deutsche Seereederei's MATHIAS THESEN, a 1966 built "XC" type from Warnowwerft, was photographed in the Kiel Canal on 29.6.68

The ship finally sailed from Aden on September 6th 1987, it appears having been simply renamed MATHIAS at Split in July, for breaking at Alang

Thanks for info, when I fotographed her in Split under name Thesen she was in bad condition and I have doubt: it must bee renamed ship before last voyage! Gretings from island Hvar. Vjeko
