North Carolina Department of Transportation River class ferry departing Fort Fisher landing on the Cape Fear River (north east side) going towards the Southport landing (south west side) connecting NC Highway 211, south of Wilmington NC.
She is a "River" class vessel built in 1998. She can carry up to 42 vehicles (dependent on mix), is 180 feet long, yet pulls only 6 feet of draft. She is doubled ended to speed turn around on busy routes.
