Interesting comment. I know that the tug had an upgrade not long ago. On another forum I read only a couple of days ago (the writer knows the tug well so may not be unbiased, but is not the owner or crew!):

"She is strong, fuel efficient, great in a sea given her size and tows really well. That combines with an owner who cares for her and a good and experienced crew it is a winning combination."

OK Gilbert, merci.
As she will be used for harbour or domestic service, probably the accomodations are not fitted to received a crew during a 7 days voyage ?

Yvon

Hello Yvon
I suppose it's forbidden by a shipping law to sail with somebody on board of this type of ship at offshore.
Last men left this ship in the lock just before sailing off.

Hello Gilbert,
Do you know why this hopper barge didn't proceed to Algeria under her own power ? Is the towage cheaper ? Thanks.
Regards,
Yvon
