Description:

Now named Endeavour this long term resident of Canada Dock Liverpool is currently undergoing restoration by a dedicated team. While work progresses internally, the most obvious external changes since my previous photograph almost a year ago are blue paint over the bridge and banding on the funnel. It is reported locally that she is now lying in a semi sunken state in Liverpool's Canada dock having been found to be taking on water. Whatever the outcome this is obviously a major blow to the restoration effort.

Thanks Barry,
I had already a look at the facebook site. Will get in contacht with them.
They have done a lot of work! Hopefully they get all the official certificates etc. She is an old lady... To get safety and bilge/waste/sanitary installation to now a days standards must be an enormous load of work and modification. I wish them all the best!

Thanks Peter. I agree - she's a lovely ship and it would be great if she came back into service. I think the plan is to use her for North Wales excursions. To Jürgen I suggest taking a look at the Endeavour Project Facebook page. Barry
